Welcome to Huddersfield Community Action Group. Our mission is clear: to encourage every member of the community who is eligible to vote to get registered and use their vote to help bring about much-needed positive changes.

We believe in the strength of our collective voice. Join our team of volunteers who are working to support voter registration drives. By using our vote, we can make a meaningful impact on local issues, as well as national issues that affect us locally and are close to our hearts. Together, we can improve the future of our community.

― Why we exist

Unfortunately, many of our local and national representatives have neglected their duty to truly represent the priorities that are most important to us. There are serious local worries around the mismanagement of funds for public services, lack of acknowledgement and action to address rising crime rates, closure of much needed public facilities and much more. Nationally there are huge concerns that will have an impact on generations to come such as the lack of action to address the cost-of-living crisis, continuous annual underfunding of the NHS, Emergency Services and Education, all the while wasting of money on endless foreign wars, and especially the complete disregard for public opinion as the nation stands united in calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
